You don’t have to be Jewish to love Jewish music!
Mark Daugherty has served as Music Director at Old York Road Temple-Beth Am since 1984, where he directs the Adult Choir, T’filah Band, Children’s Choir, and brings energy and joy to services, concerts, and Purim spiels. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music and Temple University (MM, Choral Conducting), Mark also studied at Hebrew Union College and Westminster Choir College.
Beyond Beth Am, he conducts the Ambler Choral Society, serves as accompanist for the Orpheus Club of Philadelphia, and has collaborated extensively with schools, senior choirs, and youth theater groups. For over 30 summers, he has been Music Director at Camp Tecumseh, preserving the long tradition of Gilbert & Sullivan performances.
With a lifelong passion for community-building through music, Mark believes in the power of song to connect, uplift, and inspire.
